What’s it about?

Ash, Pikachu and their friends live in a city called Pokemon Hill but their lives are being threatened by a race of previously extinct creatures, the Genesects.  These creatures haven’t been alive for 300 million years but they have been restored to life through the DNA in their fossils. The Genesects are afraid of the world they see and think everyone’s their enemy.

The Genesects cause a huge problem when they build a nest in the electricity supply which threatens to cut off the electricity to the city. The Pokemons have to find a solution so they ask the legendary Mewto to come and help. The Red Genesect , the leader, is hostile to the Pokemons and won’t give in to them like the other Genesects want to do. Mewto has to fight the Red Genesect so that they can all live peacefully together.

What to look out for

There are some battles between the Pokemons and the Genesects such as:

  • The Genesects shoot fire bolts at the Pokemons and they have to run from the fire.
  • Mewto and the Red Genesect have a fierce battle almost to the point of death.

Also the Red Genesect is a fierce and scary character which could frighten younger kids.
