Dr Kate Highfield is currently General Manager Professional Learning and Research Translation at Early Childhood Australia . Previous posts have included Lecturer at the Institute of Early Childhood at Macquarie University, and Research Fellow (RIPPLE: Research Instittue for Professional Practice Learning and Education) at Charles Sturt University. Her areas of expertise include educational technologies, simple robotics, mobile technologies, mathematics and science curriculum, and pedagogy in primary schools.
