The Internet is a great place to find information, talk to your friends, play games and generally have fun. There are some risks though, with going online and it’s important to know what to do and what not to do when you’re on the Internet. In this section we’ll talk about some of the risks of going online and what you can do to prevent them. Some of these risks include cyberbullying, meeting people you don’t want to and seeing pictures and information that might upset you.

The Australian Government has developed a button you can download onto your computer and your mobile phone which you can press if you feel threatened or scared by something or someone you see or meet online.
