Dusty is a crop-duster who’s flown thousands of miles but hasn’t seen anything of the world. When he sees a competition called ‘Wings around the World’ he decides to enter so that he can at last see something other than crops. When he turns up to register, all of the other fancy planes laugh at him, particularly Ripslinger, three times champion of the competetion.
Dusty finally gets accepted into the competition and asks an old WW11 plane called Skipper to help train him. Dusty isn’t the fastest plane but he often comes to the rescue of other planes who get into trouble. So when he finds himself in trouble it’s time for the other planes to help him out.
