Tarzan 3D is an animated film. It tells the story of a young boy called John who loses both his parents in a helicopter crash and grows up in a band of gorillas, becoming ‘Tarzan’. His parents had been investigating a giant meteor that hit the earth 70 million years earlier.
After being left on his own, Tarzan is adopted by a gorilla who has lost her own child. He grows up as part of the band until a scientific explorer comes to the jungle in search of the meteor. The scientist’s daughter Jane meets Tarzan, and they begin to fall in love.
However, greedy company men are now working at Greystoke Industries – the company founded by Tarzan’s father. They arrive in the jungle and try to take over the power of the meteor to get power and money. They capture Jane and her father and have to battle with Tarzan as a result.
The story shows the importance of love and family for both people and animals. It also shows the bad results of people wanting too much power and money.
