The Lion King is a Disney musical about Simba the lion, who is the son of Mufasa, the king of the animal kingdom. When Simba’s uncle Scar kills Mufasa so he can become king, Simba runs away. When he is away from the kingdom, Simba makes friends with a warthog named Pumbaa and a meerkat named Timon. The three of them are happy and free until Simba’s lion friend Nala finds them. Nala tells Simba that the kingdom is in danger because Scar is king. Simba decides to return home to save his kingdom, confront Scar and become King.
