Dorothy is a young girl who lives with her Aunt and Uncle on a farm in Kansas. One day a tornado hits their farm and Dorothy and her dog Toto are swept away to the magical land of Oz. In Oz she meets Glinda, a good witch, who tells Dorothy that she must travel to the Emerald City to find the Wizard of Oz and he will help her get home. Along the way Dorothy meets a scarecrow who does not have a brain, a tin man who does not have a heart and a lion who does not have any courage. Together they must find the Wizard so he can help them with their problems.
