Update on Australian Law Reform Commission National Classification Scheme Review Ministers noted the recommendations made by the Australian Law Reform Commission in its Final Report on the Review of the National Classification Scheme and agreed officials would report back following further work on a number of recommendations to enable decisions to be made by Ministers about priority areas for reform at the next SCLJ meeting in April 2013. See http://www.alrc.gov.au/inquiries/national-classification-review for ALRC report.
ACCM considers that ALRC report was a lost opportunity to recommend much needed classification categories under age of 15 years, that would provide better information for parents.
