First U.S. Inpatient Treatment Program for Internet Addiction December 2, 2013

The first hospital inpatient treatment program in the U.S. has opened in Bradford, Pennsylvania. The founder of the program, Dr. Kimberly Young, has opened several such centers in other countries over her 20 years of practice. She says that in her experience, net addicts get a high just like they would from drugs.
