Government urged to act on pre-election policy to enhance online safety for children September 17, 2013
In its pre-election policy to enhance online safety for children, the Coalition pledged to establish a Children's e-Safety Commissioner along with legislation to allow order large social network sites to be ordered to remove harmful material quickly.
The Australian Christian Lobby yesterday urged the new government to proceed with the plan despite reservations among some social media providers.
