Parents and others who are concerned about children being exposed to gambling will be concerned to learn that two multi-platform games with simulated poker machine gambling have just been rated G by the Australian Classification Board. The games, Vegas Challenge and Big Top Challenge have both been given a G rating with the consumer advice "Poker machine simulation"
Experts are worried that early exposure of children to games that simulate gambling may lead to problem gambling habits in adulthood. Games that simulate gambling give children the opportunity to practise gambling and playing these games can make gambling seem like part of normal everyday life.
