Following an appeal from the distributor, the original PG classification for the new Australian film, Blinky Bill the movie with was reviewed by the Australian Classification Review Board and reclassified G. The consumer advice was changed from "Mild themes and crude humour. Some scenes may scare very young children" to "Some scenes may scare very young children".
ACCM opposed the change in classification. Our reviewer found themes, violence and scary scenes which made the film unsuitable for children under 6 and recommended parental guidance for the 6-9 age group.
