The Adelaide Festival of Children’s Books will give children the chance to meet the creators of some of their favourite books and learn about what inspires them to make their stories come alive.
It is the first of what the organisers hope will be an ever-growing celebration of the diversity and creativity of children’s books across Australia. There will be talks and activities from South Australia’s top children’s authors and illustrators. New York Times bestselling authors Sean Williams and Garth Nix will be launching their latest book. Children’s favourite, Sally Rippin, will be making a guest appearance.
This festival takes place on Sunday 22nd October at Carrick Hill & Monday 23rd October at Flinders University.
