From August 24, Australians will have a chance to view a month-long showcase of the best of this renowned Japanese animation studio.
Headed by Hayao Miyazaki, Studio Ghibli has carved itself a name as one of the giants of animation, creating international favourites including Ponyo, My Neighbour Totoro (1988), Howl's Moving Castle and the Academy Award and Golden Bear winning Spirited Away (2001)
The films will be shown at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) in Melbourne and at Hoyts and Village Cinemas
