Inaugural Symposium, Parliament House, Canberra, 14 September 2023

Hosted by Zoe McKenzie, Member of Parliament for Flinders (Victoria), the inaugural symposium of the Australian Gaming and Screens Alliance (AGASA) will take place in Parliament House, Canberra on Thursday, 14th September.  The symposium will feature speakers who are acknowledged experts in the issues of online gaming, screens addiction, and how problems relating to gaming and screens can be prevented and how individuals and families can engage in therapy when there is an opportunity for change.  The problems of equitable access to treatment will be highlighted. 

AGASA is a newly-formed, national, independent and not-for-profit group which aims to support and educate teachers, clinicians and the general public on how to prevent, assess and address this disorder through evidence-based treatments, and to promote national efforts to combat harm.
