This review of Amazing Forest Animal Puzzle contains the following information:
All activities within the game were reviewed and completed
This is a simple puzzle game for young children that uses visual perception skills to complete the activities. The objective of the game is to match the puzzle pieces with the animal shape to complete the picture. Once the puzzle is successfully completed, balloons show up on the screen to be popped. This additional game encourages visual precision and speed of processing skills.
This app shows forest scenery and a framed picture of a deer that must be double clicked in order to display the puzzle. A slide motion is used to browse the three different puzzles. There are an additional nine screens that are inaccessible within the free context of the app. A risk of this game involves children touching the screen without understanding and accessing the app store. A correct answer to a maths question is required to complete in app purchases, however a child may choose the correct answer by chance.
The puzzle games require visual dexterity as the correct shapes must be aligned with the animal outline. Once each piece is put in place a burst of colourful stars is shown and once the whole puzzle is completed, balloons appear on the screen. This adds visual stimuli and rewards the player. The balloons also add an additional game that develops speed of processing skills by seeing the balloons on the screen and popping them.
The game does not require reading for understanding which allows young children to play while developing visual perception skills. The animal puzzles allow the children to learn through trial and error without any risk associated with error.
Yes: Additional puzzles can be unlocked by returning the app store and spending real money. This feature requires solving maths problems such as 70+20.
