This review of Antistress – Relaxation Toys contains the following information:
Most of the free games were played.
Antistress is a collection of mini-games designed for relaxation. The free pack contains approximately 80 games which, for example, include playing stacking blocks; floating lily pads; marble balls; wind chimes; drawing with chalk; colouring in; puzzle cubes; spinners; matching shapes; sorting shapes and colours; and writing letters.
The games are all simple to use with a tap or a swipe of the finger and can therefore be played by most ages, with the necessary fine motor skills. Within the home screen several more games are advertised which can be purchased as the ‘Quiet Pack’. This can easily be purchased by clicking on the ‘Buy’ button and caution is therefore advised for under 5’s.
Antistress is designed for all ages – adults included. There is nothing particularly concerning about this app, apart from the easy ability to purchase the ‘Quiet Pack’. The games are very relaxing and would be a good diversion for children who are anxious or in a stressful state. The letter writing game would be a good one for helping children with their writing skills as each letter of the alphabet is traced over and re-drawn with a finger. Matching and sorting shapes are also good skills for children to learn.
