This review of Baby Games: Puzzles for Kids contains the following information:
All sets were played.
Baby Games: puzzles for kids has 12 game boards, each contains a 'set' of cards. The first board displays 5 cards and this progresses to 7 cards on the last board. Children select the game board they want to play by clicking on a picture to open it up. Once a game board is open, a further card appears, and the child must match this new card to one of the originals (for example, matching colours to objects or pair association). This is done by moving the card with a finger to fit into the space provided. If it is the correct card, the two merge together and the complete picture is shown. When all cards are matched an animated creature appears with balloons and clapping is heard.
The puzzle boards progress in difficulty and players will need to use more thinking skills and look for more detail to complete them.
Baby Games: puzzles for kids uses and develops a variety of skills during play, including: matching colours, patterns, shapes and numbers as well as logic skills such as matching lids to their bases, colours to objects, and association of pairs. It has been developed by child psychologists for young children. The bright colours will appeal to children and the simplicity of matching pairs will make it fun for young children.
The free version of this app provides the first three boards, which would be completed quite quickly. It is more of a sampler than an actual game. The remaining boards can be unlocked with a one off purchase of $7.99. This is done through the parent zone, which is entered by holding down the button for two seconds. Due to the connectivity to the Internet and the presence of in-app purchases, parental guidance and/or co-playing is recommended.
If you have downloaded the free version of this app, you are able to purchase the paid version for $7.99. This can only be done through the 'parent-zone', which can be accessed by holding down a button for two seconds.
Connectivity to the developer’s website is present through the parent zone, which is accessed by holding down a button for two seconds. Further apps by the developer are displayed and can be accessed from this page.
