This popular puzzle app is available on most platforms and remains the same across all modes. Within the game, the player has to connect collections of matching coloured jewels, earning points and ‘bonus gems’ by connecting longer chains.
This puzzle app, while essentially a simple colour matching activity is engaging as it rewards players with sounds, animations and points. If playing while connected through a social networking platform, the game also publishes results to your timeline and shares high scores. Game play can be short (one minute per round) – with players progressing through levels, playing friends and virtual opponents. Competition between others is encouraged with rewards for connecting with “friends” through online social networking platforms such as Facebook.
Each day players are also allowed to have a “free spin” to earn additional points (virtual coins) and rewards. This “free spin” simulates a simple poker machine.
