This review of Cat Bird! contains the following information:
Level 3
In this platform game, players need to navigate “Catbird” (a cat with wings), through a series of mazes. Left and right movement is achieved with on screen arrows to left of screen, with the right of screen button enabling jumping and hovering. Players work out how to move through the platform mazes by manipulating objects and timing jumps and hovering down and over obstacles. The aim of the game is to make it to the end with the least amount of deaths.
This style of platform game is saturated through the gaming market (and has been since Mario Bros.), and at first, seems relatively straight forward. However, by the second world (or level) the mazes become quite difficult and require many attempts to master. Thus, younger children may become frustrated with this game. Taking into consideration the frequent pop-up ads (which show war game apps), together with social media connectivity to Facebook, Twitter and BandCamp, this app is not recommended for children 12 years and under.
$2.99 to remove the ads.
