‘Cooking Craze’ is a speed based entertainment game where players juggle cooking and serving food before the time runs out. In each level players must either serve a certain amount of customers or earn a certain amount of money. Players must manage their time effectively as each food item takes a different length of time to cook. Players click on the food to cook and then serve it. Parental guidance is recommended for ages 5-8 due to in app purchasing, online information, and advertising.
In each level, the player must cook and serve the food before the restaurant closes or before the customers get angry and leave. The speed of the customers arrival and the complexity of the food orders increases. The player must reach certain goals: serve a specific number of customers and meals, earn a certain amount, or receive a number of ‘thumbs’ up. If the player fails the level, they lose a life. Each player gets 5 lives, which can be renewed over time or by buying more. This game is primarily for entertainment purposes and unlikely to offer educational benefits to children. However, some players may find the game helps with time management skills and an understanding of the cooking process.
- Players can buy spoons for real money.
- Spoons can be used to buy more lives, power ups, more time, food and equipment.
- Turning off the internet prevents in-app purchases.
