This review of Eggy Alphabet contains the following information:
This App presents a set of mini games, each practicing letters and sounds, including letter names, sounds and letter formation.
This App is designed to help children learn the alphabet, with a collection of mini games for each letter including activities that help practice letter formation, letter sounds, upper and lower case. The app relies heavily on rewards and children are rewarded for their work. A range of accents are available and the ability have an Australian accent was cited as beneficial by parents involved in user testing. While the children playing this found the activities engaging, some found the letter formation tasks challenging.

The State Government of South Australia's web site http://nogame.com.au/ contains information about these concerns.
