This review of Fidget Hand Spinner contains the following information:
The game was played for several hours
In this game, players simply spin the fidget spinner. The game will measure the speed, amount of spins (during that turn) and amount of spins overall (for all spins across the game). These statistics are compared against world rankings. Thus, the aim of the game is to get the highest scores possible. More fidget spinners can be unlocked either by reaching milestones in the game or watching 10 – 30 second ads.
Fidget Hand Spinner appears to be a game designed to capitalise on the current world wide craze, simply due to the fact that it’s very ad heavy. Not only is there a constant banner ad at the bottom of the screen, but a main feature of the app (unlocking new spinners) requires watching 10 – 30 second ads for other game apps. For the most part, these ads were child friendly and appropriate for the designer’s age recommendation of 4+. However, a couple of ads featured slot machines and violent game play. These would not be appropriate for most children under 9 and parental guidance is recommended for children aged 9 – 12.
