This review of Fish School HD contains the following information:
All levels were reviewed.
This App is designed for young children and presents fish swimming through the water to create letters, shapes and simple games.
This App with simple, cartoon fish swimming through space is engaging for young children, with many children in user testing participating for extended periods of time. Within the App children can select a variety of activities such as letters, numbers, colours and shapes. Each of these activities has the fish swim into formation, eg all fish of one colour for the colour activity or fish swimming to form letters for the letter activity. Each activity is accompanied by additional visual and audio prompts.
In addition to these activities two mini games are also presented, matching and identifying differences as well as a free play mode, where the user can control the fish movement. Some parents report the limited range of verbal feedback as frustrating and request a setting to turn off the music however in this review these tools were not obvious and may be a limitation of the App.
