This review of Gumballs and Dungeons contains the following information:

In this game, players navigate a “Gumball” character through a series of mazes – which includes battles with various monsters. To navigate a maze, the player simply presses on a series of squares which disintegrate and unlock the surrounding squares for pressing. Disintegrating squares can reveal hidden treasures – or monsters. Various weapons and items can be earned through completing mazes – which help to defeat monsters in subsequent mazes. Coins are also earned through battles with monsters which can be used to buy certain items such as shields, weapons and potions. During the course of getting through the mazes, the game also has a feature where your Gumball friends are constantly mining for coins. Due to Facebook connectivity and in-app purchasing, this game is not recommended for children under 13.
There is quite a lot of dialogue at the start of this game and hence takes a long time to start. It is anticipated that some children may become impatient with this. It is also quite difficult to understand the point of the dialogue and how it relates to the plot of the game. It’s clear that successful navigation earns rewards and that the other Gumballs are mining for coins – but it’s unclear what the ultimate goal of this game is – other than getting through mazes and staying alive.
