Hidden Folks is very similar to the popular book series “Where’s Wally”. Players are given a set of items (e.g.; people, animals, objects) to find amongst a scene which is saturated with other objects. Some objects are in plain sight – others can only be found by moving and pressing obstructive objects. The aim of the game is to find all objects in order to move onto the next scene.
Parents need to be aware that players can connect with each other and communicate – not only through text but can actually voice and video call each other using a piggyback app called “Discord”. It’s not a requirement to play the game, but it is an added feature that parents should be vigilant about. Regarding game-play, the objects are very small in normal view.
