This review of Love You To Bits contains the following information:
Level 7
Kosmo has to travel the universe to rebuild his robot girlfriend Nova. At each destination Kosmo has to undertake several tasks to find Nova’s body parts and other collectible items along the way. The player has to click on the screen to make Kosmo move but completing tasks is not often straightforward. The destinations include places such as ‘A Slimy Future’, ‘A Hero for all Seasons’ and ‘An Alien in the Playground’. In each case, Kosmo has to solve puzzles and overcome obstacles. Gross motor skills and good problem solving skills are needed to play this game.
Love You to Bits is a paid app therefore there are no in-app purchases or advertising during gameplay. Online connectivity is not required to play this game however, on the opening screen there are several buttons to connect the player to the App’s Twitter and Facebook accounts, a YouTube promotional video and access to the Game Centre. There is no function to turn these features off. In addition, the concept of the game is rather violent as Nova is blown up in the opening sequence and the aim of the game is to recover her body parts.
The app is quite simple to use but the levels grow in complexity and are quite difficult to navigate.
ACCM does not recommend this game to children under 9 and parental guidance and/or co-playing is recommended for 9 – 12 year olds.
