This review of Peppa Pig - Holiday contains the following information:
All areas/levels of the game were accessed and played
Activities on this app include helping sort luggage while going through airport security; getting ready to go the beach; having swimming races in the pool; and making ice-creams and pizza. These activities require the player to count, match, sort, recognise colours and create. The game is fairly intuitive but clear aural instructions are also provided (and can be translated into 12 different languages).
The activities in this app will help younger children learn and consolidate skills in the areas of counting, colours, matching, memory and following instructions etc. On completion of the games the player is rewarded with a sticker, which they can use to make a holiday postcard. The activities vary in difficulty, with some requiring basic drag and drop skills only ie to choose an outfit for the beach. However, some have several levels and require persistence to get through 10 slightly varied repetitions of the same activity. For example, when the Peppa Pig family travels through security at the airport the player is asked to help sort luggage onto the conveyor belt ie. 4 blue suitcases etc. Once the player gets the correct answer 10 times they move onto helping identify what is in each bag as it passes through the x-ray machine. This requires them to view an outline of a shape ie teddy bear, and the drag that shape into the bag (all possible items are displayed in another section of the screen). This level is made more challenging (and tests memory skills) because the player only gets to view the outline of the shape for several seconds before it disappears.
There is a grown up section on the opening screen, which is protected by a difficult maths equation, and has links to other Peppa Pig apps and websites, privacy/cookie policies and a Kids Safe website.
