This review of Peppa Pig Theme Park contains the following information:
Several hours of game play covering all areas in app
Theme park activities on this app include a train ride, water cannon game, bumper cars, hot air balloon rides, spinning tea cups and remote controlled cars. Each game requires the use of fine motor skills to help steer or collect items along the way. For example in the train ride game the player is required to drag their finger across the screen to help load the passengers onto the train and then control the speed of the train from the main controls at the station. There are also some creative activities including the musical water fountain (where the player can choose notes to make a tune) and candy floss making (where the player can select the colour of the candy floss and help mix and eat it as well). The games are fairly intuitive but clear aural instructions are also provided (and can be translated into 12 different languages). At the end of each section of the app the player is given tokens which they can spend at the theme park shop.
To complete the activities in this app the player needs fine motor skills and basic problem solving skills. On completion of the games the player is rewarded with a token, which they can use to spend at the theme park shop. Once in the shop, players can purchase stickers to use in their virtual sticker book. Note: players must have at least 10 tokens to start shopping. This may prove frustrating for some players, as if they don’t have enough tokens, they are directed back to play more games.
There is a grown up section on the opening screen, which is protected by a difficult maths equation and has links to other Peppa Pig apps and websites, privacy/cookie policies and a Kids Safe website.
