This review of PJ Masks: Moonlight Heroes contains the following information:
Completed
PJ Masks: Moonlight Heroes is a multilevel scrolling game, whereby single presses anywhere on the screen will make the main hero dodge obstacles and/or collect orbs and masks.
There are 3 heroes: Catboy (who climbs and jumps between two buildings), Gekko (who runs across the roof tops) and Owlette (who flies over the roof tops). Each hero has seven levels to complete. A total score and star rating (1 to 3) is given at the end of each level to indicate degree of completion. The aim of the game is to collect as many orbs and masks as possible, and to make it to the end of the level without losing lives.
Very simple, fine motor skills, good hand/eye co-ordination and fast reaction time are required to play.
The concept and playability of this game is very simple and straightforward. However, due to a link within the app that takes you to the PJ Masks’ website (which has features including Facebook connectivity and other online features) parental guidance is recommended for ages 4 – 13.
Content within the app itself is completely fine for children aged 4+. However, clicking on the settings icon in the top right hand corner gives players the option of clicking on a parent/child symbol (see below).
This provides a maths question with a range of 3 possible answers. If the wrong answer is selected, it then provides an alternative maths question. Children will be able to keep clicking answers until the correct one is selected.
