This review of Robber Race Escape contains the following information:
Our Reviewer played the game for several hours.
Robber Race Escape places players in the role of a thief who has just robbed a bank and must get away from the police in a getaway car. The getaway car drives automatically into the screen within a 3D environment. Players only need to swipe left and right to navigate their way through the city streets, whilst collecting rewards and avoiding obstacles. The aim of the game is to drive as far as possible without crashing. Rewards (e.g. gold coins and paper money) can be used to unlock new vehicles and characters, and to extend your current run after you’ve crashed.
Although just a game, some parents may find the theme of playing the criminal inappropriate. Not only do we see the main character rob a bank and flee from police, but players can actually earn rewards by deliberately bashing into police (who are driving either cars or motorbikes). In a game where police are represented as an enemy to defeat, the role of police in general and their moral representation may become a bit blurry for younger children. There is also quite a lot of advertising in this game. For example, when a player has crashed, the game will often offer an extension on the current run if you watch a 30 second ad. Ads were most often for other games featuring violence and occasionally intended for adults (e.g. ads for airlines).
