This review of Smart Cubes: Farm contains the following information:
This game was reviewed for 3 levels.
Smart cubes: farm is a three dimensional puzzle game. The aim of the game is to manipulate the cube pieces to make a picture of a farm animal. The 3D puzzle pieces can be moved by swiping the puzzle pieces in all 4 directions and also tapping the cube pieces in a clockwise direction until matched. Rewards or points are given depending on the difficulty of the level accomplished and the speed in which the game is completed. A combination of good fine motor skills and spatial awareness skills is required to play this game.
When the app is first opened a player has the option of choosing a Gamer ID or they can skip this option. Next, a player is given the choice of three different puzzle levels: a 3x2, 6x4 or 9x6 piece three dimensional puzzle board. A player matches the puzzle pieces by either swiping or tapping the three dimensional pictured puzzle pieces until the puzzle is completed. A good level of spatial awareness and fine motor skills are required to achieve success. Points (stars) are given according to the speed the puzzle is completed in, the difficulty of the puzzle chosen and when 6 boards are completed in a row. A timing device is used to record the time taken for a puzzle to be completed. This is displayed on the game screen. Reward points (stars) can be used to unlock a range of different farm animal puzzle boards and to give hints towards completing the game if needed. Rewards points can also be attained when choosing to watch advertising material instead of playing the app. During the game a player can choose to listen to the background music of nature calls or to mute the sound. Players have the option of in-house purchasing to block advertising material or to purchase rewards (stars), consequently having a greater option of puzzle boards to play from.
Yes: The game contains an in app purchase store where rewards (stars) can be purchased; 2000 stars $1.04, 5000 stars $2.08 and ads can be turned off for $2.08.
A player is encouraged to share information only if a Gamer ID is selected. Facebook friends are not mentioned.
No simulated gambling content was found within this game during the review, however simulated gambling content was shown in ads.
