This review of Space Invaders contains the following information:
The reviewer played for several hours.
This app is an exact replica of the classic 80's Space Invaders game – everything on screen (including sounds) is exactly the same. Players must stop an impending alien attack by shooting five waves of aliens (55 in total) before any of them reach the Earth’s surface. The aliens move in a downward – zig zag-like motion, shooting at the player as they do so. The more aliens destroyed, the faster the remaining ones move. Hence, players will need good timing and reaction skills to destroy singular aliens.
This is a very simple app and there are no ads or banners. There is also no in-app purchasing or connectivity to social media. Adults that were children when the original Space Invaders came out in video arcades of the time may find the value in the nostalgia of it – noting that the visuals and sound are identical to the original.
