This review of Speech with Milo: Sequencing contains the following information:
Played for several hours.
Speech with Milo: Sequencing is an educational, puzzle game where the player has to put the three pictures in the right sequential order to complete the scene. When they have correctly done this, the play continues onto different levels with varying pictures. When the player enters the game, the voice-over instructs them to put the cards in order, if the player puts a picture in the wrong order a buzzer sounds, if it is in the right order they hear applause. If the player presses ‘phrase’, the voice-over then describes the scene.
Sequencing is a valuable skill for children to learn. However, some of the pictures in the sequencing puzzle are quite small and some sequences are open to interpretation. Noting this, together with that fact that players will need sufficient reading skills, some children may need guidance from an adult.
At the time of review, there was no pop-up or inappropriate advertising, however there was access to Google Play Store purchasing through a small icon located on the left side of the main menu screen. If the player tries to leave the game via this icon, a mathematical problem appears that the player needs to answer before they can continue to the Google Play Store. Although it is probably tricky for young children – some players may be able to get through to a purchasing area. Overall – this game may help children to develop their attention to detail, sequencing skills and language development.
