This review of Stickman Hook contains the following information:
Played to level 821.
This skills-based game requires players to navigate their character through an obstacle course by swinging from point to point (like a monkey) using an extendable rope. This is achieved by simply pressing anywhere on the screen to attach your rope to a point, and then letting go to release. Whilst unattached to a point, the character turns into a ball – which can bounce on flat surfaces – and then back to the character whilst swinging. The aim is to get to the checkpoint without falling out of the playing field. There is also a multi-player mode, where you verse a group of 5 other players in a race to the finish line.
There are no concerns with the game itself – there is no social media connectivity or in-app purchasing (other than paying to remove the ads). Having said that, there are a lot of ads in this game; the 20 – 30 second ones which can’t be “X’ed” out of. They appear very frequently between screen transitions and mostly show ads for other apps and games. You can also watch these ads to unlock different characters.
You can purchase "no ads" for $2.99.
