This is an adventure game where the player is sent to a primitive past to set up a tribe of people as their chief. The object of the game is to expand the tribe while learning how to balance the needs of supply and demand.
The player is initially sent through a portal in time to a distant past with instructions to discover how the primitive people lived. The player is instructed by a female how to build huts, clear spaces, plant crops for food and chop down trees for wood. Once these skills are learned the player is deemed fit to become chief and given the task of expanding the tribe.
