This review of Thinkrolls: Kings & Queens contains the following information:
All levels were reviewed.
This App offers a fun journey, set in castles with moats, dragons, crocodiles and funny ghosts, using trial and error, logic and some principles of physics to progress. Two levels of difficulty and up to 6 player profiles can be selected. The puzzles become increasingly more difficult and players can restart each puzzle as often as needed.
Along the journey the player gathers treats such as ice-creams, lollies and gems which are transformed by a dragon into accessories for your character.
The game is easily navigated, with bright graphics and a pleasant soundtrack. There is a castle with ghosts who are not frightening. Bats and Spiders can be removed along the journey and a tally is provided at the end of each castle.
Young children may require some co-playing as some of the challenges increase and there is no in-game help. The developer suggests Easy levels for 5+ and Hard levels for 8+.
Each puzzle must be solved to progress.
On the Home Page there is a tab “For parents” which has a parental lock, which requires holding a number written as a word for 3 seconds on a number pad, both the number and the pad change with each access.
The parent page for this App explains the concepts used, such as rack and pinion, light reflection, etc. There is a magical element to some of the games, such as flying potion to explore the concept of gravity.
There is a link “Out now!” to other Apps by the developer and to a review of this App, again, the same parental lock is used, the videos advertising the Apps can be viewed without the parental control.
