This review of Wonderland: Little Mermaid contains the following information:
Played for several hours.
Wonderland: Little Mermaid (not to be confused with Disney’s “The Little Mermaid”), is a sandbox style game (which means that there is no aim or predetermined way to play) allowing players to manipulate and control characters and objects in their environment. For example, in the room marked with ‘Cafe’, players can make their own food, pour drinks, make coffee and help their character’s eat and drink. These actions are achieved by either tapping on an object or dragging objects to the desired destination. There are several rooms that can be explored in this way and players can alternate between different characters. Characters can also be changed in various ways – you can dress them up or give them a new hair style, etc. You can also press on a character’s face and choose from a range of emotions for them to express – this feature includes motion and audio.
This app contains no ads, social media connectivity, or in-app purchasing – gender is equally represented (where traditionally the game would have been pitched primarily at female players). There is also elements of action and consequence, ie. if you drop a glass, it will smash.
