This review of Wooden Block Puzzle contains the following information:
The game was played for several hours over several days.
This simple puzzle game requires the player to place wooden blocks on a board to fill up the space, and as either a horizontal or vertical line is completed those blocks disappear and make more room for another set of blocks. Once the wooden blocks don’t fit into the available shapes anymore, the game is over. There is no time limit in this game and the score is compared to your personal best. Once the game is completed there is an opportunity to share your score on social media (there are no password restrictions on this function).
As with any puzzle there may be some educational benefits to playing this game including learning about different shapes, being patient enough to complete each round, and developing cognitive skills when attempting to solve each puzzle. However, this game is quite one dimensional and for most children a real world puzzle would be more satisfying because of the physical aspects involved in fitting the shapes and seeing a photo or picture, as a result of their hard work.
