This review of WordBrain contains the following information:
Game reviewed to Pack 3, level 9.
WordBrain is a puzzle game where the player has to find the correct words hidden in the puzzle. The player must find all the words correctly to clear the grid and finish the puzzle.
The player begins with a 2x2 grid with four jumbled letters. The player must swipe in any direction (Left, Right, Up, Down and Diagonal) to create a word with the letters. The small blank squares beneath the grid show the player how many words and the length of the words, that they have to find. There is a hint button, where the player can ask for hints if they are stuck. When the player runs out of hints they can buy more (see In App purchasing for more detail). The game gets progressively harder as the grid gets larger and the words get longer. The game has 30 packs and 10 levels in each pack.
WordBrain is a fun and challenging puzzle game. It is great for language development and developing puzzle solving skills. WordBrain is appropriate for all ages, however, because of its difficulty it is recommended for ages seven and older.
Yes: You can buy hints to help you with the puzzle for real money. The prices for hints range from $1.29 for a small amount to $16.99 for an extra-large amount.
In the settings menu, the player has the option of connecting to Facebook to compare scores with their friends.
