This review of Wriggle Free contains the following information:
The reviewer played all available puzzles of the Easy and Medium Level, as well as some Hard and Expert puzzles available in the paid version.
Wriggle Free is a puzzle game. The goal is to manoeuvre a blue worm out of a maze in as few moves as possible. The way to the exit is obstructed by walls or other worms that need to be moved out of the way. Logical and strategic thinking helps finding the exit faster.
The minimum amount of moves is indicated for each puzzle, as well as previous personal records. There are different levels: Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert. In the free version, initially there are only six easy puzzles available. Upon completion of three easy puzzles, four medium puzzles become unlocked.
Solving the Wriggle Free puzzles requires focus and a degree of skill. The game encourages logical and strategic thinking, planning and remembering previous moves, and is good practice for perseverance and patience. The fact that previous personal records are saved motivates the player to do the puzzles again until the perfect strategy is found.
The app does not require internet interactivity, creating an account or providing any personal details. There is, however, the option to share achievements via Twitter, which requires an existing, or creating a new, account. While this app is suitable for young children, parental guidance and/or co-playing is recommended due to the ability to share information online and to purchase the full version.
